A Journey of Discovery and Purpose
Shook by tragedy in early April 2020 my beloved husband suddenly passed away, 5 months later I received an autism diagnosis for my youngest son who was just 2 1/2 years old. My heart was broken from the sudden and shocking loss of my husband and now I was overwhelmed with grief and concern for my son.
When my family received my son’s autism diagnosis, I found myself in uncharted territory. The overwhelming maze of services, programs, and decisions felt impossible to navigate alone.
Everything changed when I found my mentor – someone who had walked this path before me. They didn’t just provide information; they offered hope, guidance, and the confidence we needed to advocate for our loved one.
That transformative experience planted a seed. I realized that every family deserves to have someone in their corner – someone who understands the journey and can light the way forward.
Open Vessels Consulting was born from this desire to pay it forward, to be that guiding light for other families beginning their own journey.
